Interchange is a YouTube channel about door-to-door journeys, made by one person. This page says what this website and the studio behind the channel do with information, and how to ask about it.
This website
interchange.travel sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from anyone else's servers. It does not ask for anything about you or store anything about you.
Its host, Vercel, receives the technical details every website receives to serve a page, such as your IP address and your browser, and keeps them in its own logs under its own policy.
The studio behind the channel
Interchange Studio is a private tool. Only the channel's maker uses it, to publish the channel's own videos and posts to its own accounts on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bluesky and TikTok, and to see how they do. Nobody else signs in to it, and it posts nothing for anyone else.
To do that it reads from those services, through access the channel's owner has granted:
- the channel's own videos and posts: their titles, words and links;
- how they do: views, likes, shares, comments and link clicks, where a service reports them;
- comments and replies on the channel's own posts, with the public name of whoever wrote them, where the studio is used to read and answer them.
It keeps this in its own database, run on Supabase, and keeps the channel's video files in Cloudflare R2. None of it is sold, shared with anyone else or used for advertising. No one else serves content or advertising through the studio, or sets cookies through it.
YouTube
The studio uses YouTube API Services. What happens to information from YouTube is also covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Figures about the channel's own videos are kept for as long as they are useful. Titles and the text of comments are refreshed or deleted within 30 days, and the studio checks every 30 days that its access still stands. If that access is revoked, everything the studio holds from YouTube is deleted within 7 days.
Access can be revoked at any time on Google's security settings page.
Other people's comments
If you commented on or replied to one of the channel's posts, the studio may hold your public name and what you wrote, only so it can be read and answered. Deleting the comment where you wrote it removes it from the studio at its next refresh, within 30 days. You can also ask for it to be deleted: see Data deletion.
Questions
The quickest way to ask about any of this is a message to the channel on Bluesky, X or Instagram, linked below. You will get an answer, and anything you ask to have deleted is deleted within 30 days.
